Here are a few things to remember:

• Check the title: Many owners have often taken out a loan to purchase their RV. It is important to remember that whoever holds the loan, has the title. Make sure you talk to the person who is holding the loan to see how long it will take to get the title free and clear in your name. This process can take several days or weeks depending on your location or the people or businesses you are working with.
• Do a thorough inspection: Take your time and check everything inside and out, front to back. If the motorhome for sale has been stored outside, that can cause additional issues. Start by checking the interior and exterior walls, roof and flooring for cracks which usually lead to leakage and mold. Bringing a friend along for a second pair of eyes is usually helpful as well. • Use common sense: Never buy on impulse because of a great price. If the price is too good to be true, it usually is. Use common sense when making your purchase and if any thing doesn't add up, or the seller can't answer all your questions, just keep shopping.
